Nannu Nobis, Chair; Founder, Nobis Engineering

Nannu is the founder and former Principal of Nobis Engineering, Inc., an employee-owned company with a 34-year legacy of client solutions, employee engagement and community involvement. He holds an MS in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, a BE in Civil Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Pilani, India, and multiple Executive Management certifications from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, NH. Nannu has lived in southern New Hampshire for over 35 years and is active in local community organizations, serving as a Past Chair of the Board for Granite United Way, a past chair of the Board of the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce, a past chair of American Council of Engineering Companies of New Hampshire, a former board member of NH Public Radio and past chair of several other local community organizations. Elizabeth H. Muzzey, Historic Preservation Consultant

Elizabeth is a historian, preservationist, and educator. Throughout her 30 year career, she has advocated for the importance of all types of historic properties, the economic benefits of preservation projects, clear regulatory processes, and the value of research and educational opportunities. As the former long-time State Historic Preservation Officer and director of the NH Division of Historical Resources, she led the effort to create the only comprehensive map-based online inventory of records on the state’s historic places and established the New Hampshire State Register of Historic Places, among other initiatives. Elizabeth holds a BA in History and a MA in Preservation Studies, and for the last twelve years has also served as adjunct faculty for Plymouth State University’s Heritage Studies and Historic Preservation programs. 

Mark Fagan, Treasurer; Concord Coalition to End Homelessness
Finance Committee Chair

Mark joined CCEH after a long, successful career managing teams to assist corporate clients in addressing and resolving complex matters—none of which were as important or life-changing as homelessness. He brings to CCEH his experiences and skills in financial matters, human resources and operations with the goal of allowing CCEH’s front line team of case workers and volunteers to focus on serving the population of people experiencing homelessness with compassionate, high-quality service. Mark graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from Fordham University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Kathryn bibbo; Rath, Young and Pignatelli
Governance Committee Chair

Kathryn is a shareholder with the firm of Rath, Young and Pignatelli where she serves as a member of the firm’s Management Committee and leads the State and Local Tax Practice at the firm.  Kathryn has over two decades of experience in the state and local tax field, previously with PwC and with the Illinois Department of Revenue as Special Assistant Attorney General for the Income Tax Litigation Unit, both in Chicago.  Kathryn has been included in Best Lawyers in America © in the area of tax law since 2017 and has been named “Lawyer of the Year” in tax law in Concord, New Hampshire for two of those years.  Kathryn also serves as Vice-President of the Board of Directors for the New England State and Local Tax Forum, a non-profit dedicated to education in the state and local tax field.  Kathryn proudly sent her daughter to Kimball Jenkins’ summer camps and is a huge supporter of Kimball Jenkins’ impact in the community.

Beth A. Deragon, Pastori | Krans

Beth is an employment lawyer at the law firm of Pastori|Krans, PLLC, in Concord, New Hampshire.  Her legal practice focuses on counseling and training businesses on sound employment practices and defending businesses in employment litigation before state and federal courts and administrative agencies. Beth earned her J.D. degree from the UNH School of Law and is licensed in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts. She earned her M.A. degree in Russian Language and Literature (Hons) from the University of Birmingham, UK, and her B.A. degree in Russian Language and Literature from the University of New Hampshire. Beth authors the NH chapter of: Employment at Will: A State-by-State Survey (First & Second Editions), ABA Section of Labor and Employment Law, Bloomberg BNA, 2017-20. She was awarded Best Lawyers® 2016-2022: Employment Law - Management; Super Lawyers®: Employment & Labor Law – Employer 2018-2022; and Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings™, AV Preeminent Rating 2018-2022.

Karen M. Lascelle, CPA, CVA, CFE, John burk & associates CPAs, PC.

Karen is a Managing Director with John Burk & Associates CPAs, PC.  She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in New Hampshire as well as a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). Karen consults with clients regarding corporate taxation, financial attestation, business valuation and forensic engagements.  Karen has been in public accounting for 25 years.  She is an adjunct professor with the University of Phoenix and Southern NH University. She received her MBA in 2006 from Southern New Hampshire University.  Karen has been awarded Outstanding Member by NACVA, included in Marquis Who's Who in America, and was named a National Top 40 Under 40 by the NACVA.  Karen is on the Ethics Oversight Board for NACVA, serves on the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Commission (AIMLC), is a Past President of the New Hampshire Society of CPAs, Board Member of Penacook Assisted Living Foundation, and long-time Rotarian. Giving back to the community is very important to her. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her wife, Vikki, and five children, Meghan, Emily, Daniel, Katharine and Connor.

Joe Spain, JH Spain Commercial Services, LLC

Joe is a highly engaged executive and company leader. The family and community values that Joe Spain grew up with are carried into his professional life and demonstrated by the spirit of giving back that runs through the company culture. Joe places a high personal priority on community service so that his company’s success will always lead to improved lives and assistance to those who need it. While the business landscape of New Hampshire has changed immeasurably, for Joe, good humor and family values remain a constant. Joe has served on numerous community Boards and service committees.
