joan goshgarian - interim executive director

Joan spent 33 years as the Executive Director of the New Hampshire Business Committee for the Arts, where she significantly contributed to partnerships with organizations such as the New Hampshire Center for Nonprofits, the Business and Industry Association, and the New Hampshire State Council on the Arts, creating greater awareness of the Granite State's creative economy. Rejoining Kimball Jenkins as Interim Executive Director of Kimball Jenkins, she is currently enjoying the dynamic campus and the array of exhibitions and classes led by an outstanding faculty. Her previous experience with this organization, coupled with her history of dedication to the arts and cultural advocacy, makes her an ideal fit.  

stacy kline - director of Operations

Stacy has a BFA in Illustration and a certification in UI/UX Design. After undergrad, Stacy worked with a handful of artists and creative spaces before moving to New Hampshire to explore her other passion, third-wave coffee. Stacy loves working with the artist spaces in New Hampshire and is particularly interested in studying creative placemaking and how it can inform and expand community inclusivity and foster a sense of belonging.

ko dustin - facilities manager

Ko is a craftsman, and takes such care and detail for the entire Kimball Jenkins Campus. He is a creative and enjoys the many challenges of curatorial duties and innovative programming needs. Ko has refinished and preserved the windows in the Victorian Mansion, fixed the granite walkway leading up to the Office for easier accessibility, and has advised the KJ Buildings & Grounds Committee restoration and repair initiatives.
Big and small, Ko contributes innumerable ways to the long term stewardship of this Campus, and the success of our educational and
programming in the community.

dawn beauchesne - events coordinator

Dawn retired as co-owner of a hardscape design & stone masonry business in 2016 and also enjoyed a successful 20-year career in regional media sales and management. These years were made especially memorable while planning events throughout New England for a nationally syndicated radio personality, as well as coordinating promotional appearances and fund raisers for local, regional and national musical acts. She also enjoyed working on many committees with the Lung Association of NH during their many Clean Air Challenge multi-day cycling fundraisers, and for a time as part of the development team. Dawn joined Kimball Jenkins as events coordinator in 2011. The Estate hosts nearly 100 business meetings, social gatherings including weddings, and fundraisers every year. Dawn lives in Concord with her husband, and English setters Avery and Fern.

wren morrocco - Ceramics studio director, Youth Programs, and education committee chair

Wren is an art educator for all ages. She is the Director of Ceramics, hosts our Art Lab program, and the chair of the Potter’s Guild. Wren enjoys working with the students to develop their skills and explore their creativity. Wren teaches both wheel throwing and handbuilding classes and enjoys introducing new students to the world of clay or challenging advanced students to try new things. She earned her Bachelors of Fine Art from Colby Sawyer College with a major in Ceramics and Minor in Education. Since then, Wren has been teaching and practicing art in various forms including some sculpture and fiber arts. She lives in Andover, NH with her partner Nick, their dog Cricket and four chickens. 

meadows madsen - ceramics instructor and youth programming Director

Meadows has built and improved dedicated programs for youth. They are KJ’s Summer Camp Director during those beautiful 9 weeks from June - August and they also help plan the curriculum and instruct during the school year for KJ’s free after-school programming for middle school and high school-aged students. Meadows is a Ceramics Instructor and a Graphic Designer with a BA in Studio Art and Design from the University of Northern Colorado. They are passionate about building programs dedicated to serving underprivileged and diverse youth and believe there is a place in art for everybody.

marcia o’brien - ceramics instructor

Marcia received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Ceramic Arts from Syracuse University in 1990. After moving to Atlanta, Georgia, Marcia expanded her knowledge of pottery as an assistant at Callanwolde Fine Arts Center from 1995-1997. Marcia taught pottery on the wheel to teens and adults at Chastain Arts Center from 1998-2012. In 2013 Marcia moved to Concord, New Hampshire with her husband, John and daughter, Kyra.

sylvia brofos - watercolor instructor

Sylvia is a graduate of the Chelsea School of Commercial Art in London England. She has taught art at The Kimball-Jenkins Art School as well as at the NH Institute of Art, Chester College, and the Currier Art Center. She is a member of the NH Art Association, and the NH Art Educators Association. She has exhibited extensively throughout NH and the New England region.

mike howat - oil & acrylic painting, drawing, and printmaking

Mike is a painter working out of Concord, NH. Since earning his B.F.A. from New Hampshire Institute of Art in 2014, he has been actively engaged in the New England art scene. He has worked with Kelley Stelling Contemporary, Mill Brook Gallery, Rochester Museum of Fine Arts, Nahcotta Gallery, Chase’s Garage and other galleries in the region. He focuses on painting, but works routinely with large-scale graphite drawing, monotype printmaking and etching. Howat recently started dabbling with curation and is a curatorial advisor for the Rochester Museum of Fine Arts. He has taught at Kimball Jenkins since 2016. When not in his studio, he’s likely wandering the coast or the White Mountains. 

joe blajda - oil & acrylic painting

Joe is a graduate of Plymouth State University and has formerly taught art at the New Hampshire Institute of Art and the New Hampshire Youth Development Center. He concentrates mostly on oil painting, but has experience in drawing, pottery, clay, animation, graphic art, and screen-printing. He has shown his work regionally. His artwork is currently on display at the Artstream Studio in Rochester, NH.

mary mead - printmaking

Mary has taught adult learners in a variety of settings throughout New England, and taught printmaking at Colby-Sawyer College in New London, NH for a number of years. At Kimball-Jenkins, she has offered classes and workshops for a variety of age groups including summer teen art camp. She works across mediums with, since 2001, a particular concentration in printmaking.  She is a member of the Boston Printmakers Society and has a long exhibition history. Mary Mead received her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, and an MFA from Tufts University and the Boston Museum School, with an emphasis in sculpture.

gary samson - photography

Gary is a fine art photographer and photo educator who has received numerous awards, grants and fellowships for his work during the past forty years. He is currently serving as the Artist Laureate of New Hampshire after retiring as the Chair of the Photography Department at the New Hampshire Institute of Art in Manchester, NH. Gary has taught photography courses and workshops regionally and internationally since 1981 and his career in photography started in 1971 at the University of New Hampshire where he served as the University Filmmaker and Manager of Photography.
